Please read these Terms carefully before using Egyspots. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Egyspots.
Egyspots ("we," "us," "our") is a mobile application and web platform operated in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Egyspots allows users to discover, share, and check in at real-time street hangout spots including car meets, street carts, pop-ups, open-air gatherings, and other spontaneous locations.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Egyspots. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We comply with the Egyptian Child Protection Act and international standards including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it immediately.

You may not create more than one account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.
Egyspots is a user-generated discovery platform. We do not create, verify, or endorse any spots listed in the app. All spots are added by users. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, safety, legality, or current status of any spot listed on the platform.
Egyspots is not:
Always use your own judgment about the safety and suitability of any location before visiting it.
Egyspots allows users to post photos, text, check-ins, ratings, and stories ("Content"). You retain ownership of your Content, but by posting it you grant Egyspots a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your Content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban without notice and without refund of any fees paid.
Stories posted on Egyspots automatically expire and are deleted after 6 hours from the time of posting. Once deleted, stories cannot be recovered. Do not post any content you wish to preserve permanently. Egyspots is not responsible for any loss of content due to expiry.
Egyspots requires access to your device's location to function. By using the app, you consent to:
We do not share your precise real-time location with other users. We display only anonymized, aggregated heatmap data. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, but this will prevent core features from working.
The user who first creates a spot on Egyspots is designated as that spot's "Founder." Founder status is displayed publicly. Founders may edit or delete their own spots. Egyspots reserves the right to remove, modify, or reassign founder status on any spot at its discretion, including for violations of these Terms or to maintain platform quality.
Egyspots may offer a points system that awards points to founders when other users interact with their spots. Points are for in-app recognition only. Points have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes, cannot be transferred between accounts, and may be reset or removed at any time at Egyspots' discretion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the points system at any time.
All software, design, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property related to Egyspots belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written permission.
The Egyspots name, logo, and "Find where Cairo hangs out" tagline are our trademarks. You may not use them without permission.
We reserve the right — but have no obligation — to review, remove, or moderate any Content posted on Egyspots at any time and for any reason, including Content that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful, offensive, or contrary to the spirit of the platform.
To report Content, use the Report button within the app. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. For urgent safety issues, email safety@egyspots.com.
You may delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by Egyptian law.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. Terminated accounts may not be re-created.
Egyspots is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Egyspots shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Egyspots after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. For material changes, we will notify you via the app or email.
