Egyspots is a mobile application operated in the Arab Republic of Egypt. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Egyspots app and website (egyspots.com).

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, marketing companies, or any other third parties.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. Firebase is certified to ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 security standards.

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by Egyptian Law 151 of 2020.

Under Egyptian Law 151 of 2020 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@egyspots.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Egyspots is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@egyspots.com and we will delete the account and associated data immediately.
Users between 13 and 18 are considered minors in Egypt. We recommend parental involvement in account creation for users under 18.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers which may be located outside Egypt. By using Egyspots, you consent to this transfer. Google maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
The Egyspots mobile app does not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking. We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage in aggregate — this data is anonymized and not linked to your identity for advertising purposes.
Our website (egyspots.com) uses Google Fonts which may set cookies from Google's servers. No advertising cookies are used on our website.
We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use your data for retargeted advertising.
We may use and share anonymized, aggregate data that cannot identify any individual — for example, "1,200 check-ins happened in New Cairo last Friday" — for platform analytics, research, and potential partnerships. This data contains no personal information and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
The app may contain links to external services (such as Google Maps for directions). These third-party services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of Egyspots after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
